Bolsover Local Strategic Partnership
The Local Strategic Partnership (LSP) for the Bolsover district was formed in 2001. It is a partnership that brings together the main service providers and agencies of the Bolsover area in an effort to drive local regeneration and service improvement. This means that the public, private, community and voluntary sectors can work together for the benefit of the District.
LSPs are required to:
- Develop and deliver a Sustainable Community Strategy to secure more jobs, better education, improved health, reduced crime, and better housing, narrowing the gap between deprived neighbourhoods and the rest
- Keep track of progress and keep it up-to-date
- Provide a forum through which providers of public services (local authorities, the police, health services, central government agencies, and voluntary bodies) work effectively together to meet local needs and priorities
