We are aiming to promote clear and regular channels of communication with the Partnership, Elected Members and external stakeholders such as residents.
A Communications Strategy was adopted by the Partnership in April 2005 to guide the improvement of both internal and external communications. By improving communications, we will be more likely to achieve our objectives and our stakeholders will be much more aware of who we are, the services we provide, and what opportunities exist to influence service delivery.
We are working towards the public's understanding, awareness and appreciation of the Partnership services and activities. This is mainly achieved by drip feeding news in the local media; mainly the local press and occasionally, radio. The Partnership Communications Team issues news releases to inform the media about recent Partnership news.
We publish 'Connect',
the bi-annual Partnership newsletter, which keeps Partners, local communities and key stakeholders informed about the Partnership's news and activity. The newsletter celebrates success and contains useful features, event photographs, projects and reference information such as telephone numbers and forthcoming meetings.
