Partnership Commissioning Framework
An effective two-part Commissioning Framework has been prepared to ensure funding is strategically allocated (i.e. priority and outcome driven) to Neighbourhood Renewal projects that can commence from April 2006.
This two-phased approach to commissioning ensured projects funded through this Framework were consistent with the recently launched Community Strategy
.
It was agreed that Partnership Action Groups carry out a Fit for Purpose Assessment of all new activities approved as a result of draft action plans. This Fit for Purpose Assessment fed into the Commissioning Framework prepared for Phase 2 of the commissioning process giving partners a clear plan of action over the next year.
(The aim of the Neighbourhood Renewal (NRF) programme is to address the differences and inequalities experienced by the most disadvantaged communities. Bolsover district is a priority area for this funding. The success of NRF will be measured by the extent to which it brings innovating, sustainable change in working practice and strong evidence of achievements within those areas of most need.) This fund ceased in March 2008 and has been replaced by the Working Neighbourhoods Fund (
WNF
).
The Commissioning Framework is available from the Partnership Office.
