The Derbyshire County Council Route 4 programme is funded by the LSC and Bolsover Local Strategic Partnership and is based at the Community Education Centre, Langwith Road , Shirebrook.
Twelve young people age 16 - 17 years have recently successfully completed the programme and have gained certificates in vocational qualifications, ICT, Literacy and Emotional Intelligence.
The programme is aimed at building confidence, gaining qualifications, personal development and taking part in work placements.
At a presentation lunch held at the Community Education Centre on Tuesday 8th January 2008 , four young people from the programme received a portfolio of their achievements together with certificates.
