£2bn regeneration scheme evaluation
The Office of the Deputy Prime Minister (ODPM) are evaluating the New Deal for Communities (NDC) programme, examining how the £2bn project has affected a selection of the UK’s most deprived areas. The New Deal for Communities (NDC) programme is one of the most important area based initiatives ever to be launched in England and offers sustained funding over ten years in 39 communities.
New Deal for Communities (NDC) is a Government programme aimed at addressing and tackling multiple deprivation in the most deprived neighbourhoods in the country, giving some of the most deprived communities the resources to tackle problems.
