The successful Bolsover Wellness initiative has been chosen as a case study within 'Turning the Corner', the Dept. of Health's progress report on implementation of the Diabetes National Service Framework.
This is a coup for the GP exercise referral project that has recently passed a key milestone for having 1000 referrals.
The Diabetes National Service Framework set out the first ever set of national standards for the treatment of diabetes to raise the quality of NHS services and reduce unacceptable variations between them. This attached report highlights progress over the first three years following the publication of the NSF Delivery Strategy.
