The Alliance for Enterprise has launched a new website www.allianceforenterprise.org
to raise the profile of an exciting new initiative.
The new site holds detailed information about the Local Enterprise Growth Initiative (LEGI) including information about each delivery team, news and events, initiatives and useful contacts.
LEGI is a new government scheme which aims to boost local incomes and employment opportunities in the most deprived local areas through enterprise and investment.
Areas in receipt of Neighbourhood Renewal monies were eligible to bid for LEGI funding. A joint bid by Ashfield, Mansfield and Bolsover was recently successful.
The initiative will specifically support entrepreneurial activity, provide access to employment for local people and enhance the performance of businesses across the three Districts.
